this was closed to us on our first tour so we came back to check out the inside the following day.

Piazza Novonna

The plaza with a fantastic fountain and edifice cretaed the greates sculptors and architechts of the times had an open air Christmas sale. Father Time (pictured), Santa and Bella Natre were all there to enjoy the holiday.

The Pantheon

a look at this monstrous building that includes columns and a dome inside. This perfect sphere included an oculus (hole in the center) that would allow sunlight when it rained holes and a drainage system kept it dry. Raphael is buried here as well as two Italian emperors.

we quickly drove to St. Peter's to see the Pope's address.
